The Jammin' Jumpers are hosting the 12th annual JAMMIN' DOUBLE DUTCH on November 17, 2018 and the 7th annual JUMP GYMNASTICS WORKSHOP on November 18, 2018. We will motivate the new, challenge the experienced, and inspire jumpers and teachers during this two day event. Spirit wear and food will be available.

Athletes/Judges/Instructors: Sign up here on Wild Apricot. Early registration receives a $10 discount towards registration. AMJRF Members receive a $10 discount toward registration. Youth Jump Rope jumpers register for package 6 or 7 as Rockin' Jumpers.

REGISTRATION: All athletes, judges, and instructors (teachers or coaches) must register through Wild Apricot by October 28, 2018 to get a $10 discount. All AMJRF Members will get an additional $10 discount. Final registration must be completed by November 17, 2018. Athletes are encouraged to forward a copy of their registration receipt to their Coach of Record.
Coaches will register the athletes into the AMJRF Classic events after October 1, 2018 by using the World Jump Rope registration system.

PAYMENT: Payment can be completed by the athlete, judge, coach, or teacher. Choose the option that works best for your team. Early payments must be made by October 28, 2018. Late payments must be made by November 17, 2018.
1. Individual Payment - Athletes, judges, and instructors may make their registration payment during the online registration by credit card or choose "invoice Me" to pay by check. "Invoice me" means the individual will pay the hosting team by the deadline.
2. Team Payment - Coaches or schools may choose to make one payment by credit card or check after all participants have completed the registration process.

EVENT CHECK IN: Doors open at 8:30 am. No early entry will be allowed, Please enter at the front doors. Coach of Record for teams will pick up the Coach's packet, event shirts, lunch tickets, and session information.
Participants must wear their name tags during the event.
DINNER AND CONCESSIONS: All pre-paid subway dinner for Saturday are $7.00 and will include sub, chips, fruit, cookie, and drink. Payment for those dinners must be made with registration. Snacks on Sunday are included in registration. There will a concession stand with pizza, nachos, drinks, and snacks for purchase. Saturday lunch can be purchased at our concession stand.
VENDORS: We will have a variety of jump rope apparel and accessories available for purchase.
AIRPORT INFORMATION: Arrive at Canton Akron Airport (CAK) or Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE). You can get an uber or rent a car to the hotel near our event.

Jammin' Double Dutch Workshop is named as the third in the AMJRF Classic Series Championship Qualifier. Athletes that rank in the top 8 over-all in the AMJRF Classic Series events will compete at the AMJRF Classic Finals on March 2, 2019 at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, OH.

Jump Rope Private Lessons 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Sign up for an hour private lesson with an elite jumper to help develop single, pairs, wheel, double dutch, and/or double dutch contest routines. Each private lesson will include a copy of the skill combinations or routine development learned during the session.
AMJRF Information Session 9:30 - 10:30 am. Join the fastest growing National Jump Rope Federation as we review the AMJRF plan of action and discuss how we can help jump rope to grow stronger and faster in the eye of the athlete or spectator. All jump rope enthusiasts are welcome to attend.
It’s All About the Music (Course 502) 10:30 - 11:30 am. Learn how to select, perform basic editing, and download music for routines. Become proficient in creating a music play list for practice that motivates your jumpers to have fun and stay productive. Learn how to select music to spice up your routine choreography for freestyles and team shows. Let your music do the jumping. Lead by Chris Brown, WJRC Music Director.
AMJRF State Organization Meetings 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
1. Join Kris Neubar, AMJRF State Organization Chairperson, to learn how you can help develop programming and membership for your state organization. All jump rope enthusiasts 18 + are welcome to attend.
2. Join Korey Inman, AMJRF Ohio to discuss the 2018 - 2019 plan of action for the state of Ohio.
JAMMIN' DOUBLE DUTCH WORKSHOP (JDDW) 12:00 - 7:00 pm. Learn double dutch turning, entrances & exits, double dutch contest dance, and speed skills. Jumpers are placed in skill groups with an elite staff member on a 1 to 6 ratio. There are six sessions with a dinner break at 4:00 pm.
World Jump Rope Federation (WJRF) Judges Certification 12:30 - 6:30 pm. Learn the basics or expand your current knowledge and skills as a World Jump Rope Certified Judge. This certification has two levels of training available. Upon completion of the course requirements, all judges will be WJRF certified judges. * There will be a break for dinner.
Level 1A: 12:30 - 2:30 pm. Speed Judge Training - Learn how to accurately judge speed according to the WJRF Rules and Regulations.
Level 1B: 12:30 - 6:30 pm. Speed & Presentation Judge Training - Learn how to accurately judge speed and presentation according to the WJRF Rules and Regulations.
Level 2A: 12:30 - 6:30 pm. Speed & Content Judge Training - Update your speed skills and learn how to accurately judge content according to WJRF Rules and Regulations. The NEW Jump Rope Judge App will be used for this training.
Level 2B: 12:30 - 6:30 pm. Head Judge Speed, Head Judge, Team Show, & Double Dutch Contest Judge Training. - Learn to Speed Head Judge and accurately judge team show and/or double dutch contest events according to WJRF Rules and Regulations. The NEW WJRF Judging App will be used for this training.
AMJRF Jump Rope Instructor Certification (Course 506) 12:30 - 6:30 pm
Anita Gabel will lead the Jump Rope Instructor Certification. Learn how to effectively implement safe and progressive jump rope skill building techniques for single, pairs, and long rope in a recreation, school, or new program environment. Successful completion of the Level 1. The training includes two parts.
Part 1 is taken online (theory portion) prior to attending the workshop session. Part 1 has four modules that include lesson content with illustrations, video support for skill instruction, downloadable content, and quizzes for knowledge assessment. Receive access to these modules up to four weeks prior to the workshop with verification of registration. Liz Way will send you the log on information for Part 1 after you register. The modules are:
- Module 1: Single Rope Freestyle (Fundamentals, Individual Skills, Pairs, Safety, etc.)
- Module 2: Long Rope (Fundamentals, Long Rope Activities, Double Dutch, Longer Rope Activities)
- Module 3: Performing and Group Activities (Choreography, Group Activities for both Single and Long Rope)
- Module 4: Jump Rope Applications (Jump Rope Instruction Program, Activity Centers, Playground Activities, Sports Applications, and Links to PE Curriculum)
Part 2 is a hands on (live course) practical portion that will include opportunities for teach backs and instructional assessments in single rope and long rope modalities. The live course will be active, so dress appropriately. * There will be a break for dinner.
Skip Traq is Growing! (Course 503) 4:15 - 5:15 pm. Peter Loomis, Skip Traq developer, will present a session on the jump rope speed app and a NEW Coach/PE Teacher educational jump rope lesson application. Come experience the new features of Skip Traq including uploading students/athletes information, organizing instant jump rope challenges, capturing jump data, showing progress in skill ability, and more! Take your students/athletes to a whole new level as they learn more about the sport of jump rope.
Jump Rope - Get Started! (Course 504) 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Learn how to start a team as a club, performance, or competition team. Get loads of ideas on how to set up your tryouts and administer team practices. Be able to design your own mini workshop at home or host your first competition.
The Jump Spectacular Show will feature the JDDW Staff performing an elite showcase combination of all jump rope disciples starting at 7:00 pm. All registered workshop participants will get a FREE Jump Spectacular Show ticket. Tickets are $5 pre-sale or at the door.
